Details
Dialogue is set within a collection of 19th-century buildings, where history and modernity converge to create a dynamic workspace. Designed for a telemedicine company, the project balances openness and privacy, integrating generous, transparent collaboration areas with private consultation rooms. The use of curved forms in communal spaces enhances fluidity, structuring circulation around a central passage that connects the various work areas.
Through a carefully curated series of images, the photography captures the project’s architectural contrasts—exposed brick, cast iron columns, and raw concrete juxtaposed with refined black birch panels. Light and materiality play a key role in defining spatial depth, while a continuous black line runs throughout the design, acting as a unifying element that strengthens visual coherence. The composition of each shot highlights the balance between the existing structural elements and the new interventions, reinforcing the project’s architectural identity.
Awarded the Special Prize for Small Budget at the Grands Prix du Design, as well as the German Design Award and Loop Design Award, Dialogue has also been featured in the reference manual of the Association des Architectes en Pratique Privée du Québec (AAPPQ). Each image in this series was created to translate the project’s essence, where materiality, space, and light converge to define a refined yet functional workspace.
