Minéral | Architectural and Commercial Photography
Minéral is a space in constant transformation, where light, materials, and sound merge to create evolving atmospheres throughout the evening. Designed with a scenographic approach, the space shifts from its late-afternoon opening to its nocturnal peak, playing with contrasts and perceptions. Light becomes a structural element, projected through fabric panels and reflective surfaces that expand and reshape the depth of the space. The interaction between materials and lighting defines a sensory duality, oscillating between warmth and coolness, immersion and abstraction.
Through a carefully curated series of images, the photography highlights the key elements of the project: the suspended wooden structure inspired by traditional wine racks, the sculptural black lacquered wood bar, and the metallic and translucent surfaces that capture and diffuse light. Each shot reveals the design’s intent, translating the immersive effect of the space and the rich textures interacting with the lighting. The goal was to capture the essence of the venue, emphasizing how simple materials—wood, metal, leather, and polycarbonate—serve as the backdrop for a luminous composition that evolves throughout the night.
Winner of the Special Lighting Award in Interior Design at the 14th edition of the Grands Prix du Design and the Best of Canada Awards, Minéral has established itself as a reference in immersive design. Its innovative concept has gained media attention in over 18 countries. Each image in this series seeks to translate this unique experience, where architecture and light unite to redefine the perception of space.
