Résidence Cédrière

Wooden slats make up the facades, sometimes acting as protective screens, sometimes framing the landscape. The cedar wood shutters contribute to the project's dynamics; sometimes transparent, sometimes opaque, the contrasting composition of the facades provides a dynamic reading of the building. The wood covers all the walls, from the outside to the inside, aiming to anchor the building to the landscape. From the interior, the large windows fully occupying the wall surfaces blur the boundaries between the seasonal landscapes and the inhabited interiors.
